ChangedCalifornia Small Business (SB, SB-PW, Microbusiness) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Certification is open and free. New DGS rules filed September 25, 2026 take effect January 1, 2027: certifications will last 36 months instead of 24, and agencies may set aside some bids for small businesses.
