ActiveOhio Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), EDGE and Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprise (VBE) certification MBE and EDGE remain in Ohio law, with MBE set-asides of about 15% of state purchases. MBE owners must be Ohio residents. The veteran-friendly law was amended effective March 20, 2025.
