What is a 8(a) set-aside?
Only firms in the SBA's 8(a) Business Development program can compete. Set-asides are federal bids posted on SAM.gov.
How many 8(a) set-aside bids are open?

How do I qualify?
Register in SAM.gov (free), then apply for the SBA certification the set-aside asks for at certify.sba.gov. Small business set-asides only need you to be small for the bid's NAICS code.
