- Download DOAS's job aid "Register as a Prospective Supplier in GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers" from the Job Aids for Suppliers page. The job aids are PowerPoint files and could not be read for this guide, so follow them for exact screens.
- Go to the GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers (link above) and register as a prospective supplier.
- Enter your company, tax ID, address, and contact details, and choose the commodity codes that match your business so you get bid notices.
- Submit, then log in and note your GA@WORK Marketplace Supplier ID (DOAS has a job aid for finding it).
- Find opportunities on the GPR and respond to sourcing events in the Marketplace (see the "Respond to Sourcing Events" job aid).
What to have ready
- Tax ID (FEIN/EIN, or SSN for individuals). Georgia verifies tax ID, physical address, and banking information for supplier accounts.
- Legal business name and physical address
- Contact name, email, and phone for the person who will handle bids
- Commodity codes for what you sell. Georgia has used NIGP codes for bid notices; confirm the code set in the GA@WORK registration job aid.
- Banking information for payments (handled in the separate GA@WORK Supplier Management portal)
