How to Register as a Vendor in Arizona

What it's for

The Arizona Procurement Portal (APP), run by the State Procurement Office (SPO), is where suppliers register and where state agencies post Requests for Proposals and Invitations for Bid. ADOT states: "You must register your company with Arizona Procurement Portal (APP) to do business with the state," and "Only registered vendors are assured of receiving notifications."

Have this ready

Steps

1. Go to app.az.gov and start a new supplier registration. SPO says suppliers "may go to the Arizona Procurement Portal and register at any time."
2. Enter your company, tax ID, address, and contact information.
3. Select all commodity codes that describe your goods and services. These drive the email notices you receive.
4. Submit and watch your email for confirmation.
5. Once registered, find open solicitations in APP and submit your response there by the deadline.
