- Agree to the General Disclaimer.
- Enter organization information: legal name, address, business type, and FEIN or SSN.
- Enter the main contact's details and create a username and password (at least 8 characters, mixing upper and lower case, numbers, and special characters).
- Select the UNSPSC categories that match your goods and services.
- Submit and check the main contact's email for the confirmation message.
- Log in to CTsource to download solicitation documents and respond by the deadline.
What to have ready
- Legal entity name exactly as on IRS records
- FEIN (or SSN for a sole proprietor)
- Business type (corporation, LLC, sole proprietor, etc.) and business address
- DUNS number, only if registering a branch location
- Main contact's name, phone, email, and physical address
- UNSPSC commodity codes for what you sell
- Optional uploads later: insurance certificates, certifications
