  2. Accept the general disclaimer.
  3. Enter organization information: FEIN/SSN, legal name and address.
  4. Enter the main contact and create your login.
  5. Select your UNSPSC codes.
  6. Add any diversity information, then submit. A confirmation email follows. This finishes soft registration.
  7. For full registration, log in to OSP and upload your W-9.
  8. Choose a payment method, then opt in to or decline the expedited-payment discount (the guide describes it as 2% 15 Net 30).
What to have ready
  • FEIN, or SSN for a sole proprietor
  • Legal entity name exactly as it appears on your IRS W-9
  • Business type, full address, and a main contact (name, email, phone)
  • UNSPSC commodity/service codes (RI uses UNSPSC, and the Division posts a code reference)
  • Diversity classifications, if any apply
  • For full registration: a signed IRS W-9 dated within the past year, and your preferred payment method (ACH, check or virtual card)
