Common questions

Does my state have its own certification?

Most do. The page for your state says which certifications it issues or, if it doesn't issue any, which in-state, small business or veteran preferences apply on state bids.

Does a suspended certification still count on bids?

It depends on the program and the bid. Each page says what the official notice or court order says, and links the program office to confirm.

Does FindMyBids decide whether I qualify?

No. The certifying agency decides. FindMyBids reports program status and rules and links the official pages.

FindMyBids isn't affiliated with any certifying agency, and this isn't legal advice. Status can change quickly with court orders and new laws, so confirm with the program office before you rely on it.
